Strain Transducer

For measurement of strain on steel and concrete surfaces. The BS-15CT surface mounting type strain transducer is developed especially for measurement of strain on steel and concrete surfaces. A temperature measuring function enables simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature. Installed on a pile or steel sheet pile, the rugged design endures vibration initiated by driving the pile.

These transducers are intended for measurement of the strain occurring inside concrete with comparatively large aggregates. Since a temperature measuring function is provided, these transducers can simultaneously measure strain and temperature.

Being small in appearance elasticity coefficient, it can measure strain from young material age.

Measure the depth and amount of landslide. This transducer is designed to estimate the depth and amount of landslide. It has a strain gage bonded on a PVC pipe to form a flexible detector. Multiple units that are connected via joint pipe are placed vertically into a boring at the landslide site and fixed by filling the gap with sand.
