Foil Strain Gages with a Temperature Sensor

These foil strain gages integrated with an attached temperature sensor (T thermocouple) can be used to measure strain and temperature simultaneously. Measuring strain in locations subject to temperature changes and temperature gradients which require the strain and temperature to be measured simultaneously can streamline work and allow for highly accurate calibration of apparent strain based on temperature. Products such as UCAM-80A data loggers are recommended for use as the measuring instrument.
