High-elongation Foil Strain Gages

These foil strain gages are for measuring strain from the structural elastic region to the plastic region of various structures. They are capable of measuring from approximately 10 to 15% high-elongation strain in simple tensile strain. *For plastic materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene that make bonding difficult (hard-to-bond materials), treatment with S-9B surface treatment agent will be required in addition to standard sandpapering.
