PCA Stress Analysis Software

This analysis software is for use exclusively with KS2 files recorded by KYOWA measuring instruments. It calculates “maximum principal strain,” “minimum principal strain,” “diagonal strain,” and “strain speed,” and can be used to easily create reports (including graphs and tables) compliant with IPC/JEDEC-9704A*. It offers a wider range of report types and file processing functions compared with PCAS-100A. *IPC/JEDEC-9704A defines a method of evaluating strain when assembling, testing, and using a PCB. Excessive strain on a PCB can cause failures, so this is an effective means of evaluating quality and analyzing failures.
