EDX-5000A is capable of measuring up to 80 channels on its own, or up to 800 channels if operated synchronously with other units such as EDX-5000A and EDX-200A. It can be used with a wide range of input sensors, including strain gages, pressure sensors, acceleration sensors, load cells, and thermocouples. It can therefore be used for various measurements such as power generator torque, temperature, tower vibration, and strain.
