Hollowed Load Cell

These center hole load cells measure loads on existing/new ground anchors and PC anchors, or during tunnel arch support work. Developed as part of a joint research project by PWRI (Public Works Research Institute) and 8 private companies, they are designed for new types of anchor load cells easily mounted on existing anchors or replaced. (Installation to an existing anchor requires the use of a tension jig and hydraulic jack developed for this joint research program.)
