Seismic dam banking behavior monitoring system
Understanding the seismic behavior of dams, which are very large civil engineering structures, is important information for the structural design of dams. The seismic analysis results obtained from the completed dam are compared with the design calculations and reflected in the subsequent dam design. Seismic observation points are used to record seismic vibration waveforms for the three components (X, Y, and Z) of the vibration at the top of the dam embankment, bottom (foundation), and ground level for the necessary time.
